Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the recruitment services provided by Valour and Virtue Recruitment. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
Please read these terms carefully before engaging our recruitment services. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use or continue to engage our services.
1. The Relationship
Valour and Virtue Recruitment acts as an intermediary between candidates and potential employers. We do not guarantee that a candidate will be hired, placed, shortlisted, or granted an interview. Hiring outcomes depend on the requirements of the role, the employer’s decision-making process, market conditions, and the suitability of the candidate.
2. Candidate Obligations
- Accuracy: Candidates are required to provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information, including CVs, work history, qualifications, references, and interview responses. Misrepresentation may result in the termination of our relationship.
- Professionalism: Candidates are expected to conduct themselves professionally when interacting with Valour and Virtue Recruitment, employers, hiring managers, and any related third parties.
- Exclusivity and transparency: Candidates should notify us if they are already represented for the same role or are engaged in another application process for the same opportunity. This helps avoid duplication, confusion, and conflicts during the recruitment process.
3. Client Obligations
- Integrity: Clients agree to provide accurate job descriptions, compensation details, role expectations, working arrangements, hiring requirements, and any other information necessary for a transparent and effective recruitment process.
- Confidentiality: Candidate information provided by Valour and Virtue Recruitment must be treated as strictly confidential. Misuse, unauthorised sharing, or improper handling of candidate information may result in immediate termination of the working relationship and potential legal action.
4. Limitation of Liability
Valour and Virtue Recruitment is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, including missed opportunities, unsuccessful applications, unsuccessful placements, hiring decisions, or professional disappointment. We provide recruitment support, candidate introductions, and hiring coordination; final decisions and outcomes remain the responsibility of the relevant parties.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate our services with any candidate, client, or party at any time where we believe continued engagement is inappropriate, impractical, or inconsistent with our standards, obligations, or business interests.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
